Return to Krista's Korner

"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's children. We must recognize that the well being of our own children is intimately linked to the well being of all other people's children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else's child will perform it. When one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will commit it. The good life for our own children can be secured only if it is also secured for all other people's children. But to work for the well being of all children is not just a practical matter-- it is also right!" - Lilian G. Katz, Phd.

On the road again

I missed a day on NaBloPoMo.  It was not intentional.  We have had many adventures on our trip to Tucson. We are in a hotel on the I-10 after a series of unfortunate events.   It was an ehausting morning,  and the afternoon was rushed. Even so, things went well.  We drove, traffic was not bad, kids watched movies on the laptop.

Chris got to his work meeting safely and on time.  I took the boys to Target and we tried to go to Olive Garden, but the line was too long and we went to wienerschnitzel instead.

Things went wrong when we arrived at the friend's guest house and the key was not were it was supposed to be.  Hijinks insued, fueled by exhaustion and frustration.  It is a new day and we are going to ejoy it.
