Return to Krista's Korner

"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's children. We must recognize that the well being of our own children is intimately linked to the well being of all other people's children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else's child will perform it. When one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will commit it. The good life for our own children can be secured only if it is also secured for all other people's children. But to work for the well being of all children is not just a practical matter-- it is also right!" - Lilian G. Katz, Phd.

So, after almost 4 years of keeping this blog (started 10/18/04), I am almost at 600 posts. Pretty awesome. In the spirit of this momentous occasion, I am thinking of getting more creative with the name than "Krista's Thoughts".
Now I am not always the most creative with titles. One great example is my website and this blog- Krista's Korner and Krista's Thoughts. Really. Another is the title of my current Senior project: "Maricopa County Children's Services Online Resources, Support, & Education". See- not creative.
Some of you out there have read me a long time. I have no theme, but write as I feel like it about what feels right to me. My life, my children, politics, social issues, utter fluff are all encompassed by this online and public journal. Sometimes my grammar and spelling suck, sometimes posts need extreme editing, and sometimes I get things utterly wrong. And thank goodness I have a safe place to do all that in.
Occasional critics aside (which I actually don't mind. I find that side of humanity fascinating, plus it is flattering knowing someone read it... LOL), I have definitely enjoyed writing all this.

But, it is time for a change. I am in an identity changing process and I creatively suck. So, dear friends, please help me. Give me suggestions, inspiration, tell me in 5 words or less what you think the name of this strange and wild ride I take you on should be.

I feel that this place is essentially me. Open, honest, and there. the name should reflect that. :)
