Why the donate button?

First, I hate ads. I keep the Google ads on the site, because I am getting darn close to $100, which is the point they pay out. Web sites have costs, and I am just a poor college student and welfare mom. I enjoy blogging and find it therapeutic.

So, the deal is, if I can get $50 a year through the donate button, the ads are gone. That will cover my site costs and stop making me feel guilty about them. So, if you like what I write and want me to continue, please donate. It can be as little as $1.00, and up to a kajillion, jillion dollars. (OK- so I made that up). In return, I promise to never join a pay per post or any other of those kind of services, and will pull all the Google Ads off my site (except the BipolarParents site- since I won't put a personal donation button on a site I run for others.)

Meanwhile, feel free to help me get to $100 and click on any interesting ads you see.
