Return to Krista's Korner

"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's children. We must recognize that the well being of our own children is intimately linked to the well being of all other people's children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else's child will perform it. When one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will commit it. The good life for our own children can be secured only if it is also secured for all other people's children. But to work for the well being of all children is not just a practical matter-- it is also right!" - Lilian G. Katz, Phd.

"My Peeps"

Frogs and Ravens: "My Peeps": "What you gonna do with all those sweets
All those sweets, those marshmallow peeps?
I’ma get, get, get, get, you freaked,
Get you sugar-hyped off my peeps.
My peeps, my peeps, my peeps, my peeps... (etc.)
My lovely little
peeps,

Check it out
I drive these brothers crazy,
I do it on the daily,
They treat me really nicely,
They buy me all these iceies.
Sugar & marshmallow,
Pink and then yellow
Bunnies, little chick'ns
All their money got me eatin' peeps, whether I ain’t askin,
They say they love my eatin'
All those candy buns and chick'ns,
I say no, but they keep givin’
So I keep on takin’
And no I ain’t takin’
We can keep on snackin’
Now keep on unpackin' (them peeps).

My love, my love, my love, my love
You love my freaky peeps,
My peeps, my peeps, my peeps,
My peeps they got you,
She’s got me spending.
(Oooo) Spendin’ all your money on peeps and spend your time on sweets.
She’s got me spendin’.
(Oooo) Spendin’ all your money on peeps, (uh) on peeps, on peeps

What you gonna do with all those sweets
All those sweets, those marshmallow peeps?
I’ma get, get, get, get, you freaked,
Get you sugar-hyped off my peeps.
