Return to Krista's Korner

"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's children. We must recognize that the well being of our own children is intimately linked to the well being of all other people's children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else's child will perform it. When one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will commit it. The good life for our own children can be secured only if it is also secured for all other people's children. But to work for the well being of all children is not just a practical matter-- it is also right!" - Lilian G. Katz, Phd.

The long awaited update

Stepladders are dangerous.

Enough said.

OK.... I will write a bit more on that. On February 26, I fell off of aforementioned object with the able assistance of my darling child. Apparently, I injured my ACL. This translates into a lot of pain. A lot. My house is falling apart arround me, and I can barely keep up with my responsibilities.

Sigh.

I did have an MRI last night, and I hope something shows up that they can fix, because I am tired of hurting.

Konal is in a new school. He attends the White Tanks Learning Center, which is a district run special education self contained school. He is thriving there, but I am unhappy, mainly because I know it won't last.

We went to Texas to see my brother starting on March 17. It was a fun trip, but I don't think we have recovered yet.

I am doing the behavioral health reviews and finishing up the DDD reviews right now. School is at term paper time. I am still breathing. Life is great!
